Claudia Ajmone-Marsan is a member of Ensemble 360 who have recently been nominated for the Royal Philharmonic Society Award 2023. The ensemble perform chamber music all over the UK including at the Wigmore Hall, Crucible Theatre Sheffield, The Bath and Aldeburgh festivals and feature regularly on BBC Radio 3. They have given regular workshops at Huddersfield, Sheffield and Nottingham Universities.

Claudia is also a member of Camerata Bern, Switzerland, who were awarded the BBC Music Magazine award in 2022 for their CD recording Plaisirs Illuminées.

Always active as a chamber musician, Claudia has taken part in international festivals all over the world and has played regularly in orchestras such as the Royal Opera House London, Mahler Chamber Orchestra, Staatskapelle Berlin, the Royal Danish Orchestra and the Philharmonia in London.

As a soloist, she has performed with the Oberlin Chamber Orchestra, Kammerphilharmonie Amadé and Copenhagen Chamber soloists.

Claudia has recorded a CD with pianist Tanya Bannister, which was selected on ArtsBeat as the “Pick of the Week” by the New York Times.

Originally a founding faculty member, Claudia is now co-artistic director of Alpenkammermusik in Austria, where she coaches and plays alongside both amateur and pre-professional musicians.

Claudia studied at the Yehudi Menuhin School, Manhattan School of Music and Oberlin Conservatory where she received her Bachelor of Music degree. She completed her postgraduate studies at the Hochschule für Musik Köln.
