Tuition

  • Application due date: March 1, 2017
    (After March 1, applications may still be accepted, depending on the festival’s needs. Please contact us to see if we are still accepting applications for your instrument. *Please note that there is a €50 late application fee. )
  • Applicants will be notified of acceptance: March 15, 2017
  • All tuition and fees are due: May 9, 2017
  • Full refund is allowed up until May 25
  • 50% refund, between May 26 and June 9
  • NO refund June 10, 2017 and after.

The following is a list of all costs associated with attending AlpenKammerMusik.  Please note that your own arrangements may not include all of them.

FULL PARTICIPANTS:

  • General Tuition: €1300
    • General tuition covers faculty & coaching fees
    • Use of facilities
    • Administration
    • Excursion travel within Austria.
  • Meal plan: €400
    • lunch & dinner, does not include alcohol or special drinks; dessert included, specialty desserts available at additional cost
  • Application fee: $50 (through our online application platform, Acceptd)
  • Munich airport bus (round trip): €130
  • Housing costs for the duration (includes breakfast) range from €420 to €630
  • TOTAL COSTS  FOR FULL PARTICIPANTS approximately: €2,300 to €2,510

ONE-WEEK PARTICIPANTS

  • Arrive Sunday, July 09, Depart Sunday, July 16
  • 1-week participants limited by the festival’s instrumentation needs.
  •  General Tuition: €950
    • General tuition covers faculty & coaching fees
    • Use of facilities
    • Administration
    • Excursion travel within Austria.
  • Meal plan: €200
    • lunch & dinner, does not include alcohol or special drinks; dessert included, specialty desserts available at additional cost
  • Application fee: $50 (through our online application platform, Acceptd)
  • NOTE: **There is no transportation option provided for 1-week participants. Please contact us regarding travel options.**
  • Housing costs for the duration (includes breakfast) range from €210 to €315
  • TOTAL COSTS FOR ONE-WEEK PARTICIPANTS approximately: €1,410 to €1,515

AUDITORS:

    • General Cost: €100
      • entry into all concerts, rehearsals, lectures and master classes
      • official festival excursions
      • covers our administrative costs
    • Meal plan: €400
      • lunch & dinner, does not include alcohol or special drinks; dessert included, specialty desserts available at additional cost
  • Application fee for auditors: $30 (through our online application platform, Acceptd)
  • AUDITORS TOTAL COSTS for General Tuition, Meal Plan, Application Fee: €530
          • NOTE:    We strongly recommended that auditors arrange for the use of a rental car while in Austria to be able to visit nearby towns and attractions.
          • NOTE:    Housing dependent on whether hotel room is shared with Participant family member.
          • NOTE:     Housing costs vary according to individual requirements
